It publishes research that advances the understanding of how artificial intelligence can support teaching, learning, and educational systems. The journal has served as a key scholarly outlet for the AIED research community since 2013 and stands at an impact factor of 8.5 (as of 2024), making it a Q1 journal in the JCR classification. The journal publishes four issues per year and has achieved a total of 669.7k article downloads (as of 2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year, the IJAIED editorial team extends invitations to authors of recently published papers to present their work at the AIED conference.
